New Applicants

The AGPT Program is the leading training program for medical graduates wishing to pursue a career in General Practice in Australia.

Applications for entry to the Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) Program in 2019 will open at 10:00 am AEDT 16 November and close 10:00 am AEDT 30 November 2018.

The third intake will aim to fill available training positions throughout Australia for the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) and Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) for the AGPT Program in 2019. Not all training regions will participate. Applicant may be required to commence training on the AGPT Program from semester two. Please contact the relevant RTO’s to discuss training options.

2019 AGPT Program – third intake - available training places

Please note that these available training places are subject to change. Not all regional training regions are available.  Many positions have already been filled. Applicant may be required to commence training on the AGPT Program from semester two. Please contact the relevant RTO’s to discuss training options.
